Teamwork Cares Supports Pinellas County through School Supply Drive

Teamwork Cares Supports Pinellas County through School Supply Drive

At Teamwork Cares, we believe the start of a school year should be about possibility, not the pressure of an empty supply closet. This summer, our team came together for a back-to-school supply drive, gathering everything from notebooks and folders to dry erase markers, crayons, and classroom essentials. This August, we had the privilege of delivering it all to Kings Highway Elementary Magnet School in Clearwater, Florida.

Kings Highway is a Title I public magnet school serving students from Pre-K through 5th grade as part of Pinellas County Schools. Its STEAM curriculum, spanning science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, gives young learners the space to build, experiment, and think creatively from an early age. What stands out most is the school’s environment: small by design, personal in practice, and deeply connected to the families and community it serves.

That kind of hands-on, student-first learning depends on having the right tools in place. So our team set out to help teachers begin the year focused on what they do best, teaching, rather than tracking down tissues, cleaning supplies, and classroom basics. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who contributed, those supplies are now where they belong: in the hands of the educators and students who need them.

A project like this only comes together because of the people on the ground who open their doors and make it happen. Our sincere thanks go to Principal Antoinette Wilson, Assistant Principal Cassandra Vigil, and Secretary Bookkeeper Joella McCluster for their warm welcome and for helping bring these donations together. Their dedication to their students and their community is exactly the spirit we hope to support.

Teamwork Cares Supports Oldsmar Cares with Summer Donation Drive

Teamwork Cares Supports Oldsmar Cares with Summer Donation Drive

As part of its ongoing commitment to giving back, Teamwork Cares recently collected donations to support Oldsmar Cares, a volunteer-run nonprofit that has served Oldsmar and surrounding communities since 1997.

In the month of June our team gathered donations of food and essential hygiene products like macaroni and cheese, pasta, peanut butter, jelly, oatmeal, canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned beans, soup, deodorant, bug spray, toothpaste, shampoo, and soap. Items were collected and delivered by Melinda Muniz and Sarah Downes in the Clearwater office.

The drive was timed to meet a real need. Summer can be especially difficult for families facing food insecurity, as many children lose access to school meals while school is out.

Since 1997, Oldsmar Cares has provided food, clothing, and other essential support to local families, all through the work of dedicated volunteers.

We’re proud to support organizations that create real change in our community, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Oldsmar Cares.

Teamwork Cares Supports EmpowHERment for International Women’s Day

Teamwork Cares Supports EmpowHERment for International Women’s Day

In honor of International Women’s Day, Teamwork Commerce continued its commitment to giving back through the Teamwork Cares initiative.

On March 17, our team donated 10 bags of clothing, shoes, and accessories to EmpowHERment, a nonprofit dedicated to helping women achieve mental, emotional, and financial self-sufficiency.

This marks our second time supporting this incredible organization. During the drop-off, we had the opportunity to meet Ambee Stephens, whose passion and leadership continue to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Founded in 2018, EmpowHERment provides free resources including mentorship, workshops, and entrepreneurship training to support women as they rebuild, grow, and thrive.

We’re proud to support organizations that create real change and look forward to continuing our partnership with EmpowHERment.

Giving Back in Querétaro: A Holiday Effort That Made a Difference

Giving Back in Querétaro: A Holiday Effort That Made a Difference

In December 2025, our Mexico team came together to support their local community in a very real way. They organized a fundraiser to prepare and serve meals for patients and families at Querétaro General Hospital during the Christmas season.

The team prepared 155 tortas, a classic Mexican-style sandwich, along with juice and water. Simple, filling, and comforting. For many people spending the holidays in a hospital, a fresh meal like that can lift the day more than you might expect.

This was not a big corporate production. The team handled the fundraising, prep, and delivery themselves. It showed how much impact a committed group can have when they decide to step up for their community.

We are incredibly proud of the Mexico team for turning compassion into action and reminding all of us that giving back does not have to be complicated. Sometimes it just takes good food, some time, and the willingness to care.

Spreading Holiday Cheer in Clearwater

Spreading Holiday Cheer in Clearwater

In December 2025, our Clearwater team came together to support Toys for Tots during the holiday season. They donated toys and volunteered their time to help bring a little extra joy to children and families at Christmas.

Giving back is something that means a lot to our team, and this effort was all about making the holidays brighter for kids who deserve to feel the excitement and magic of the season. Every donation and every hour volunteered helped make that possible.

We are proud of the Clearwater team for stepping up, supporting their community, and helping spread some well deserved holiday cheer.

If you want, I can tighten it up, make it more casual, or more corporate sounding.

Teamwork Commerce HQ is giving back in a meaningful way by partnering with several local schools in Clearwater. Ahead of the first day of classes, our team donated backpacks and essential school supplies to six lower-income schools to help students start the year with confidence.

This effort is part of our ongoing commitment to support and uplift the community we’re proud to call home. Investing in these students isn’t just a donation for us. It’s a chance to pay it forward and make a real impact where it matters most.
