- What is your role at Teamwork Commerce?
I am an Application Specialist here at Teamwork Commerce. I help configure and manage clients’ Teamwork environments to ensure our software is set up as efficiently and seamlessly as possible to suit their needs.
- Explain your career path. What inspired you to join the retail tech industry?
Over the past 9 years, I have been in Client Success Support and IT user facing support roles. My time at Intuit allowed me to see that I enjoy supporting customer-facing software as a service (SaaS), but my background in IT led me to love the technical world of it the most.
- What is your favorite thing about working in the retail industry?
I enjoy seeing innovative turns within the retail industry, the speed at which brands grow, and how that forces me to keep up with the surrounding world. The Retail Industry holds me accountable to my knowledge and my development as a consumer and an employee of Teamwork Commerce.
- What is the best career advice you have ever received?
Take criticism for what it is: a gift given to you, to make you better at what you do.
- What is your favorite thing about working at Teamwork Commerce?
In my opinion Teamwork Commerce is exemplary in how organizations should function. Seeing a business that you’re a part of work well and adapt to anything ignites a thriving, striving fire inside of me. This aligns with how I run my life, well organized and ready to pivot, for growth through any trial or tribulation.
- Who are your key role models/inspirations?
To date, it would have to be our CEO, Michael Mauerer. He had a vision many moons ago, to still see him as a visionary, changemaker and true leader is the whole picture of success. He has built success over time, hasn’t been afraid to make changes, and he has built a wealth of much knowledge. I aspire to be a student of this leadership and help people achieve their goals in life and business.
